About Columbia River Serra

MisSerrasion of Serra

The Serra mission is to foster and affirm vocations to the priesthood and vowed religious life within the Church.  We are singly focused in our mission to build up the Church through support of religious vocations.  We do this out of great love for God and the Church, and commitment to the mission of Christ, that of redemption.

Columbia River Serra

Formation of Columbia River Serra began in the Fall of 1998 at the request of Archbishop Brunette, and with the guidance of Fr. Olsen, we were officially chartered in 2000.

Columbia River Serra is one of 7 clubs in the Archdiocese of Seattle, and one of 14 clubs in Serra Region 12.   We serve the Southern Deanery of the Archdiocese of Seattle, with ~30 members from parishes in the deanery, including St. Joseph, The Proto-Cathedral of St. James, Holy Redeemer, St. Thomas Aquinas, Our Lady of Lourdes, St. Philips, and St. Mary’s in Ridgefield.    Our club Chaplain is Fr. Thomas Nathe , Pastor of Holy Redeemer Parish.

General meetings are held every  Second Saturday at Holy Redeemer, beginning with Benediction at 8:00 A.M. and Mass at 8:30 A.M., followed by the general meeting in the parish hall.
